I ordered this set today. It's my first MTH. I don't have DCS yet. I hope the Proto Sound clips can be triggered using the whistle and horn buttons on the transformer.

Great train.. How do you get the engine to toot it's horn at 3.11 seconds? I can't figure out the button sequence. I just ordered this train. Can't wait to try it out.

@kingofallwhites I believe MTH only made the one engine and tender, but did make several additional cars to be added to the set.
