A Simple Generator

This was to show how generators worked to a kid I know. I understand this design is a wate of energy, but that wasen't important for it's role. It simply shows how a generator works in the simplest form.

So, let me get this strait: you use electricity to move a generator to generate electricity again? What is the point? Where is you explanation of how the generator actually work? .. you know... the laws of electromagnetism... and you think of yourself as someone who understand "these things" as opposed to your teachers" You are both arrogant and ignorant... bad combination

@okendthen I could all the parts for this in an old 5 cd player/changer. All the parts I use for things get salvaged from other stuff.

However if you do wish to buy one the folks at allelectronics[dot]com will have what you want.

this project is already i was make in before. the dis advantage of this practical is the out put of the generator current is very less than the prim. moter takes. in case you add the more load on the generator it cauge to more armature reaction.than generator speed is lows & efficiency also...

y we should use generators you can use 5v motor and produce no with 2 5v motors u can produce upto 7 to 8v no i too did this same but my teacher asked me to run a motor 5 to 6 v is needed in same amount only the current is produced so i tried with a 10v solar panel then i got 20 marks for my presentation
