Again you have a top recruiting class every year with one championship in 40 years. You guys need to worry more about OU and less about ND. Personally I could care less about ND. I just like that they along with a few others put academics first.

@timothyh71 Are you kidding?? Before Mack Brown, our recruiting was sub-par for decades. Just look at recent history..... ND sucks EVERY year, not just for 1 year like Texas.

Wow, you guys have so many excuses it's unbelievable. Now your academic standards is the cause for why no one wants to go to ND? What about Stanford? They have extremely high academic standards and they've been winning. I like Notre Dame because of their history but that's all they'll ever be.... History.

Texas has one of the top recruiting classes every single year, yet one title in 40 years! I call that choking! If you added the academic restrictions to Texas, that ND has, they wouldn't even make it to a bowl! Now have fun playing in the Cotton versus some middle of the road SEC team.

@timothyh71 Lol, it's funny how Irish fans live in the past when there was 180 pound offensive linemen and almost no black athletes. Times have changed. What has Notre Dame done recently? Nothing! There's no comparison between Notre Dame & Texas if we're talking about recent history, not 40 years ago! When has Texas ever choked their talent away(except for last year)? 1 bad year in a decade isn't what I would call choking.

I think that's the other way around. Texas is the biggest underachiever in the history of college fball. All that talent every year and they choke it away.

@Pissankle Yeah....it's good thing Texas didn't have to play them. Why, with Texas not being able to handle us when we were a podunk nobody school in 95', it might get kinda hairy..... lol. Must bring back great Sugar Bowl memories watching Westbrook and Brackens make such stellar plays. What a big night with those big hits they had. Congratulations on the great tackles fellas.

@hokieguy95 You can't compare Texas to Notre Dame lol. Our recruiting is 2nd to none. We've been the most winning program for the past 10 years and the 2nd most winning in history!

Texas- National Championship wins: 4.... Va Tech- Nat. Championship win: 0! Texas-all time record: 850-328.... Va Tech- all time wins: 679-431! lol. You have no room to talk hokie guy, your team has always and will always suck. We have 1 bad year and we all of a sudden blow? Yeah, okay.
