@chrisman81 - Err... it isn't Ted Danson either. It is Fritz Coleman. He was a weatherman in LA television in the late 80's / early 90's.

@nardpuncher I think the host of the host is Fritz Coleman, a longtime fixture in Los Angeles television. If you check his bio on the local NBC affiliate, he hosted "It's Fritz" in Los Angeles from 1988 to 1990. If you see the few videos that are online of the show, he's dressed exactly like the host here. Your guess is right on the money.
