  • I love her speech... thank you for uploading. Since I'm not an english native speaker it took me a while to understand what she was saying. I transcripted it so that everyone can read it as well as listen.

  • and to think that you can find the answer to that through a search for a job is a miscalculation of your interior life. It may be that you want to find it through a search for "I must do more, I must be more" but that's because you are motivated by the fear of being humiliated.

    But if you understood the shield, the protective shield of being humble, you would see that, in fact, you have uttered a prayer, and you actually accepted "now show me for what reason you've give me this life."

  • when you postulate that question to yourself, what I have noticed ... is that we, in our western culture, since we have such an adoration for reason, we seek the answer to that through reason, we seek to think the reason we were born, is more than extended occupation,

    when in fact that is a mystical question, that is indeed, a prayer! "For what reason have you given me life?"

    is not a question but a prayer.

  • The next stage for me was the look into the more mystical track, which was the question about purpose and meaning, which is one that I see people struggle with. A question that is inevitable in each of our lives because at some point we are, each of us called, to ask a deeper question, which is "For what reason have I been born?" It is my sense, that when that moment comes, (it's not a career question, is a life question,)
