On Wednesday, August 29, the second annniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Scotlund Haisley and his team from the Washington Animal Rescue League arrived in Washington, D.C., after a 20-hour drive from New Orleans. They carried 100 animals rescued from Louisiana. This is the first of their stories.
Beautiful work! What greater calling than to help in the animal rights cause?
