On April 30, 2011, Comcast Cares Day volunteers helped Denver-area residents recycle nearly 60,000 pounds of old electronics.

Most electronic devices contain metals that can be recovered for future uses, as well as contaminants which pose environmental risks. By recycling old TVs, computer monitors, VCRs and other electronic devices, natural resources are conserved and air and water pollution caused by hazardous disposal is avoided.
