Subaru 360 Comeback

Against all odd's, it's back together and running so fine. 38 Special is helping celebrate with some tasty sounds. Just what we need. The lil' Subie is running better than ever after a major engine malfunction last spring. I split the case both ways to install the holy grail 3.4:1 final drive from an Autoclutch 3 speed. I mildly ported the cylinders and bored them .055" over stock to fit the new 63mm Wiseco forged pistons. We now have a Subaru 360 "BIG BLOCK". I have to break it in 600 miles before any speed/power testing. I can tell this is the best combination yet. Suprising amount of zippyness makes me very happy.

You say Sedan in the beginning of the video, don't you mean coupe since it only has 2 doors?

Lovely car! "its been apart too long" reminds me of my dad! When we first moved, our TG500 project was put on a hospital bed. It didnt mùove for about 9/10 years!!!

It's going on well now. My dqd is currently trying to remove the metql spray to finally bring it to the paint shop.
