No, they do not bite, and they never have. They're very friendly and completely safe to handle.

No humans should have pets besides dogs, cats, or birds? That's the worst statement I've ever heard. And as far as "victims", what about the cattle we kill? What is there chance of escape? Humans are animals, and they kill with the same viciousness these predators do.

@FerkingSquirrles garters primarily eat fish and small reptiles in the wild, same with corns, but we feed corns and bigger snakes mice because they're easier to get and because larger snakes do need a different diet than garters.

There should really be a hyphen between Fish and Eating, because one might think the fish are eating the snakes.

I thought Fish was bad for Snakes because they dont have the right amount of Vitamins and Calcium?
