just used this kit on my 2007 Freightliner Columbia. used a 2000 rpm drill and followed all instructions. turned out fairly well. looks far better and night visabilty improved greatly. my lens are plastic though and for that reason i'd like to go back over them again with a higher rpm drill because there was some remaining haze. i would a assume different results for different lens material, ie; the glass type which if im not mistaking are the type like the Ranger here. i might be wrong.

i find it helpful to dip my headlights in a vatte of liquid gold....it takes the effectiveness away but really gets the looks during the day.

Ok saftey issues here, the dude on this video should be wearing saftey goggles...

Thank you very much buddy, just used it on my 93 Crown Vic & it looks awesome! Hopefully it'll look awesome tonight! : )

Meguir's synthetic sealer #21
apply it ever couple months to your lights. It can be used instead of wax on the rest of your vehicle too but I Still prefer Meguiar's #26 yellow tech wax on the car.

@Checkerholic what kind of sealer do you get what is the sealer called

@mifan93 when you get the lights polished clean all residue from the polishing off. Then use a sealer on them and they will retain the clarity longer.

Toothpaste works just fine to clean old headlights. Just did it on my '95 Ford Escort and they look 20 times clearer. And it probably cost about 20 cents.

Next time change your camera angle more to the left side of the car so we can see what you're doing on your headlight. Overall good video besides the camera angle.

i had the same headlights on my 93 ranger and they were yellow and really hasy when i got it. I bought this stuff and used a standard car buffer since i only bought the bottle not the kit. It looked GREAT at first but only lasted about 2 months.
my moms 98 windstar only lasts about a week!!! so idk
Isnt that headlight glass???

@theEXPERTDetailer
Nope, plastic. Many of the headlights from that era were.

To post a follow up, I drove at night with my truck for the first time since I did this video over the weekend. The difference was HUGE!

@rumblestripradio This was what i'm most concerned about. Also, do you think there are better solutions out there? Someone was telling me that doing it by hand with finer and finer sets of wet sandpaper (up to 2000 grit) would be better. What do you think?

@altitudeca A year later they need to be touched up, but they are no where near as bad as they were. The only other thing you can do is to buy replacement lenses.
