Crappy Time Warner Cable On Demand Service

This is an example of the weird pixellation and choppiness associated with Time Warner Cable's On Demand Service. It happens with every On Demand channel and they've been out twice to "fix" it. We can't figure out why it doesn't want to work the right way and it's very nearly every time we order a movie that this happens.

There's no copyrighted stuff here, it's all commercials; even if there were, you wouldn't see it anyway because of the poor quality. We sure didn't. We still don't.

@heyglitterbug I've heard good things about AT&T's U-verse. Switching cable providers is probably all you can do on your own.

I have pixelation, lines, black screen, choppiness, it's impossible to watch. They switched out the box, and it still does it. Now I know why everyone says TWC is crap - it is.

i got the same problem but doesn't happen all of time and only with a few shows

I work for time warner cable in LA and I know what the issue is with your cable, the current coming to the house is too strong, they can get a tech out to put a dampener on the line and it would fix it

Sometimes my cable tv does the same thing except making that distorted sound,soft of sound like being muted intermittently.Your menu/OD guide looks way different than mine...

my tv is all screwed up with time warner vod, only works late at night which suggests too many people on one connection.

i thought our cable was messed up becuase the Bravo channel has some weird horizontal lines going through it...

but its still sorta visible
