Has Islam become a scapegoat for the beginning of the West's decline? It's a hot ideological issue, and Jocelyne Cesari discusses how misunderstandings of Islam are crippling international relations. In this interview with Jenny Attiyeh of Thoughtcast, Cesari discusses the need to bring knowledge, more than opinion, to the public space.

Cesari, an Islam scholar and lecturer on government at Harvard Extension School, teaches the course GOVT E-1962 Jihad in World Politics, http://www.extension.harvard.edu/courses/23273

  • "the beginning of the decline", "would that make al-qaeda happy"?

have to degrade a mind, wipe it out, in order to instill the new ideas that i absolutely do believe islam intends. in fact, plenty of americans have already converted to islam.

the agenda: belief system will consume the political, to ensure that the main body of leadership is in fact, holy. in other words...

    the establishment of KINGDOM.

  • "in the public space"... do you mean battlefield youtube?
