"Pretty Hate Machine" still is in my opinion Reznor's most well-structured, best produced album to date. It thoroughly represented the aesthetic power and merit the man possesses not only as an act/band/musician but as a producer.

definitely! Danny running the samples in this song was my favorite part of it being played live. [one] case in point = 1:20. the live interpretation was never the same in 'new' NIN.
