Why Girls Don't Like Math

Girls score just as highly as boys on standardized math tests in Grade 3 and 6, yet when asked if they are good at math, or if they like math, they score much lower than boys. Why is that? By your logic, wouldn't there also be stay at home husbands? Theoretically boys and girls in the same class would be exposed to the same questions.

I do agree that the nature of taxation questions are part of the less interesting part of mathematics, but there are boys in the same courses too.

I am very well aware of the differences in cultures here in the U.S.Like for example, midwestern women are great, in my opinion.You brought up a good point but I'm not sure why you reasoned that I was "moronic" just because I stated something I've heard.Not only that, but almost all cultures have different classes, various jobs and in many cases even a diversity of races.Saying we have cultures VASTLY different is a stretch.

Boys and girls start off with similar skill levels in math because adding and subtracting is pretty damned easy, folks. Now go up a few levels of difficulty to, let's just say, Calculus and there are not that many ladies around. Male and female brains are very different. Do the research and get honest. And by the way, whenever I noticed a girl in school who was good in mathematics, I didn't for one second think that was "un-feminine". These women in the video are delusional in that regard.

@cubicaljane I've been hearing a whole lot of men who share the same opinion as FeministsAreCorrupt and they're usually talking about a whole lot more than one bad relationship.
