  • why are complaining about the video quality?! this was filmed back in the 50's! this is close up magic at its finest. the classics anyways.

  • excellent video quality...... if it was in a dust storm!

  • @RenoBobby i dont think it can have been mexican joe, because i read somewhere that vernon didn't get a lot from that gambler, however he did get several moves from mexican joe. please correct me if i am mistaken.

  • that was my gran'pa Robert Arthur Knouse as Charlie did not want to go to the studio today. He knew all the moves too did cards and violin for extra money......loved to perform and charlie was a pall bearer at his RIP, they are both at the magic meeting in the sky now....love and mystery to all.

  • @ZhuangziZhou yeah, his name was Allan Kennedy.

  • There's a great book called 'The Magician and the Cardsharp' about his quest to find the center deal. If you're a magician and haven't read it, get off your ass and get it already.

  • herb zarrow invented the zarrow shuffle..

erdnase teaches push thru and top stack retention...you won't find it in expert at the card table

  • The zarrow shuffle is not in Expert at the card table, anyway Erdanse does not like shuffles that retain whole deck as they are impractical for the gambler but invaluable for the magician.

  • I would really doubt it since it was written in 1902
