See more @ http://www.ablogtoread.com. Tag Heuer CEO Mr. Babin shows off the new for 2012 watch concept called the Mikrogirder 2000. It uses a new system developed by Tag Heuer that allows it to measure down to 5/10,000 of a second via its chronograph. The system is very impressive and elegant in this very high precision machine.

  • wtf I press pause and i still cant see the seconds hand :(

  • 88.000 euros to measure 10.453 seconds? No, thanks.

  • i want it .... so bad ...

  • @prof585 agree with that, the unit of the main dial is disturbing, it should be ms and it is 0.1ms. One turn of the main dial is 50ms.

  • Nice watch but why the heck i want a 10.000th of a second watch. For me the best Tag Heuer is going to be my calibre 36

  • you can't even cook an egg with it, useless :-)

  • @sdchew Yea, that's what I thought as well. I believe Babin was winding it before using the chronograph function for the second time. Maybe I'm mistaken. Is the chronograph function such a drain on the power reserve? In any case, really strange. :)

  • how much does it cost?

  • @danijelsan81 I'm guessing it was running out of power reserve? the last few revolutions before they stopped it looked kind of shaky

  • Now make it look nice and it might be an appealing watch to own.
