I've never seen the RSC stitch done by twisting the hook around. I suppose it gives a little different look to the edge and I will try it to see how it looks. My way of doing it is the same as shown here, just without the added twist.

hiya iam doing a bootie pattern and it says Do not turn at end of 11th row.
12th row: Ch 1. Working from left to right, instead of from right to left as usual, work 1 reverse sc in each hdc across. Fasten off.
