  • lmao! 15 thumbs down for my observation that Haynesfield wasn't quite as good as everyone was touting him to be! And yet no one wants to reply with any argument for why I'm wrong. The fact is, the horse finished 8th of 9. The west coast Derby contenders are clearly better than the New York horses this year.

  • Apparently C. Lopez was strangling him around the track, we'll see how Haynesfield responds in his next outing.

  • I bet the West Coast horses have respect now. This horse is not even the best out there and completely demolished the field. I kept hearing how his speed numbers didn't compare to Haynesfield, Mr. Fantasy and Imperial Council, well look who was all alone at the wire.

  • I got a feeling they were trying to school Haynesfield and get him to lay back farther off the pace. It may have backfired, sometimes when you put a horse into a strange situation it causes him problems. We will see what they choose to do next time out.
