you sing this song in the only way a song should be sung... that is to say, ecstatically
(i paraphrase john updike =P)
just the choice of words in your first line, "peacock spreads its fan", is so original, and such a pleasant surprise =)
and the way you toss your head, and all your facial expressions... they are a portrait of delight :)
i should probably quit harping on this video =P but i only just remembered it and my excitement on first seeing it. i feel compelled to flood the comments.

Well thank you for those words, oh though Peacock spreads its fan is everything but original. I'd say it's directly stolen from Leonard Cohen.

this is a real gem : ) it has the magical quality of great art.
i really love the sophisticated slant rhyme in the lyrics. the first stanza blows me away.
i also like the shock value of the last stanza. bind me a rope, of hardship... of bone. however, the one thing i'd be critical of is the last line of the last stanza, "my bone". since the irony has already been accomplished, it seems a little awkward to hear it again.
very minor criticism though. i really love this song.

I see, I believe I sing it twice because of the rhythm
