don't be selfish and buy wild animals as pets, you are doing a crime against animals and the balance of life. Wild animals will not have full lives if they can't hunt, be with their own and many other reasons. You could get hurt and you are promising that animal a life of abuse. Be part of the fight and advocate for the well being of all animals. Go visit a real wild animal sanctuary and see if you could help out.Then you can spend time with wild animals and save their species in the wild!

I disagree-- DON'T just pick up a random stray animal and adopt it as a pet. If you encounter a stray, notify those in charge so that the animal can be handled and cared for properly. If you'd like to adopt an animal, the local animal shelter is the best place to go.
