it's sad but i think that, as much as i love this couple, charlie was addicted to drugs and claire. without claire he was so messed where as i don't think claire returned that intesity. (look at him now, he's dead! and we don't see much of a heavy claire reaction and now she's with jacob, so oh well. when claire went missing, charlie had a bigger reaction!)
