@AiLD2 Huh? I don't think that comment really applies to what i said.

@metallica04100 true believers understand what they are saying which is clear as day. don't need the lyrics to understand the true meaning.
-
@KNDReaper No dude, I'm not saying that they "are" a Christian band. I'm saying what constitutes a Christian band? If it's not the lyrics, then is it an aspect of the sound? I just don't understand it.

@KNDReaper *pray

@CMSbballer20 Lets say you pray while standing on a rug a few times, so I call you Muslim on the simple fact that they use Prayer rugs. In the simplest of ways, it makes sense, your religious, their religious, you play on a rug, they pray on a rug. So you must be Muslim. But the truth is, we all know that there is more the it than that simple aspect and the label, in the end, makes no sense at all. Same with this band, we know their is more to being a christian band than Lyrics.

@CMSbballer20 Yep, but he straight up says that they are not a christian band, and personally, I would rather respect the wishes of the band by not putting labels on them that they do not wish to have. Can you imagine the frustration of being told your one thing when you know your not? Running out of space so Im gonna have to post again lol.

@metallica04100 I would say that because the band says they are not a christian Band, they shouldnt be labled one. You and your friend like to play rock, would it piss you off if people labled you alternative? or Rap? I think that if they are the ones who are playing the music, then they should have the last word on whether their band is Christian or not. Not us or the lyrics in some of their songs.

@KNDReaper What's the musical difference between a Christian band and a non-Christian band and how do you make the distinction? I'm in a rock band with my buddy and he is an evangelical christian and I sort of believe in a blend of eastern philosophy and christian philosophy but he writes the lyrics and a lot of our lyrics have christian slants. Also, I'm in a metal band where the vocalist said he wants to make it a christian band but our songs are rarely lyrically christian.
-
@KNDReaper ...yeah but right after that he states that because they are all Christian, all their songs are written from a Christian stand-point and perspective with a Christian meaing about the issues and problems in life..

@tokessd17 right, christians in a metalcore band

Theyre a christian band, I saw Tim in cali talking about it. You can search it guys :) I think it's kinda cool how they take a more creative approach towards their writing, instead of quoting the bible word for word or using Jesus every other sentence. Not that its wrong to quote scripture and praise Christ, but Tims approach is just different. It's a step away from the typical christian metal band, which again isnt really a bad thing.

@sweetcat23 Dude, who cares if people hates you because you listen to screamo.
I get told that all the time, screamo is the best type of music alot of screamo bands are christian. It takes a very good person to understand what the lyrics truely mean, thats why Tim is my idol. He puts so much thought into like every word
