A few hours ago I threw my husband out. After 17 years with the "man" I knew that the type of verbal abuse he was issuing was the kind that ended with a beating. I tried to inform him that this time he would go to jail. He informed me if I called the police he'd kill my daughter. She's in no real danger. She and her fiancee are both Marines and live in another state. Still, it was finally what I needed to get me to throw him out. He's beaten,isolated, and starved but I'm finally out! :D

This pisses me off. Seriously, the only time a man hits a woman is out of self-defense, and when I mean self-defense is if she is trying to freaking kill you. I don't care how "stressed" you are from bills, work, etc., don't take it out on your woman. Besides your family, she is your best friend. If you HAVE to vent, do what Paul Sr. and the others do on American Chopper and vent your anger on objects. They won't fight back, they won't cry or be scared of you and best of all, you'll feel better.

This means that women are the ones that are using violence, hitting and using weapons against men most often. More men are speaking out and reporting abuse although it is still widely unreported as the man knows that if he calls for help he will most likely be the one arrested, even when entirely innocent.

No one should suffer from abuse.
