  • Lekka man! I like your video! What was your route?

  • Hey Biggles -- Actually a compilation of a few different routes. Some at the KZN coast from Virginia to Tugela River mouth (lekka performance at the coast!).. then inward to Harismith on to FAWB. Other shots taken when we had snow on the Drakenberg.. pretty much Straighline to FAWB to Drakenberg flew next to the berg to and stopped at Bethlehem for lunch.. then back WB. The formation shots was when I recovered the Jab from Ladysmith when I had to land the Jab there because of Bad wheather!

  • The mountains with their interresting patterns were a trip to Plettenbergbay. Jissie I high tailed it out of Plet along the coast towards PE, running from a storm before turning inland over the moutains back to Bloemfontein. You doing some flying yourself?

  • Thanks for the possitive feedback. We are truly blessed with this country of ours. The Jabi can go 100 miles on 12 liters, really inexpensive. I did own a Cessna 182 before and I do excatly the same type of flying with the Jabi just at a fraction of the cost. Which country do you fly?

  • Excellent video.

Some day I'll be able to do something similar in Australia - plenty of sky all over the world!

  • Nice man... good on you....keep the dreams alive, its around the corner if you want it badly enough!

  • Awesome! Really want on of these little guys! ....even recognised Umdloti in the one slide.

  • A very nice video and also makes me want to do this. The more I see these Jabiru aircraft the more I want to fly them instead of the expensive Cessna 152 I have to use.

    Looks amazing scenery out there.

Great experience and I bet you are in a dream world with views like that.
