This is a slide show of some old dinosaurs I have been researching. The 18ft tall Feller forwarder and the 22 ft tall Loader Forwarder are my personal favourites.
If you have a photo or info on these machines you would like to share send me a message!

  • music ?

  • WOW !!!

  • I remember going by on the school bus when I was a kid and seeing 3 of those machines parked at the mill in Boiestown. I don't know where the other 2 went to but that is the 3rd one across from the museum. A friend of mine at work drove one back in the 70s for Bob Neil, he said they were quite a machine for the time.19 years ago a guy from StAndrews way somewhere had a couple of them that were like bunchers here and cut wood in the area, I think his name was Rolly Wadingham.

  • @perdean

I actually have a picture of that machine just after it was parked at the museum, it was owned by NBIP (I'm guessing that IPP is the same company, different name). I also have pics of a few of NBIP machines in the bush. they are all on the flikr site.

the one by Rt 1, I also beleive that I have a picture of it on there as well.

Nice to see other people interested in this stuff too.

  • @perdean I found out the one in Boiestown was working for IPP in the Newcasthe area before it went on display at the museum.

  • @perdean I never kneww there was one out St Andrews. They were an interesting machine,if a little ahead of the times.
