Furthermore, feminism means that women and men should have EQUAL rights, not that women are better than men in any way. The stereotype that women cook and clean and take care of children while men go be the breadwinners is a hunter-gatherer philosophy that worked then because men were physically stronger obviously. In today's culture, in which the majority of jobs do not involve hard physical labor, who's to say that women cannot do the same job as a man?

student, and I love being in control of my goals, my decision, and my life. Do I want to settle down someday and find the right guy? Of course I do, but my personal identity and my career will always be a top priority in my life as well. Because well if things don't work out or if I don't get married...? I want my children to have two incomes to be supported by and I want my OWN identity instead of just feeding off of my man all day. It's a disservice to him if I didn't.

Your opinion is your opinion, so I'll respect you for having yours, but just because something is "traditional" doesn't necessarily mean that it's better. Until the late 1960's discriminating blacks was the norm. Makes no sense now, does it?
