Why are there still so many people who think that the Ipod Touch is still the best of all? Compared to the J3, it is only better in wifi and apps, while the J3 has an way better sound qualitiy, an better display, an much better battery life, supports way more audio formats, has better customization and so much more settings when it comes to sound. And you arent even bound to additional software!

Sometimes I really think, that the Apple-fags, are just really really big trolls...

@KaeseNachos ipod touch is overall better because of the apps, wifi, and apple support. you can get better sound quality if you use LOD + portable amp. the reason i prefer the J3 is because i don't use apps often, and to remove the hassle of adding a portable amp and LOD just to produce better sound quality. also, i like the external buttons on the J3 especially the pause/play/rewind/fastforward buttons as they are really useful while walking/commuting.

@Sexxonable I know that there are also lot of other good players around, like almost everything made by Archos or IRiver for example. But there is always something missing, what important for me is. So I was bound to a J3.

I just wanted to show those Ipod users with my comment, that their device is shurely not the best mp3-player, since a Cowon J3 is in the important points far superior. But there are a lot players around that are better than an Ipod when it comes to music...

@Sexxonable That is something to talk about, not unlike youre first comment. I just guessed that you are an apple-fan, since you just raged without justification.

Yes, the firmware is not the best and I never that sad. But I can live with it. Try finding another mp3-player with that battery-life, that has also besides a good touchscreen, real buttons to fully control the music playback.^^ I have not found another yet, besides the Cowon S9.

@KaeseNachos and don't talk about me not having the proper headphones to hear the difference, my Sennheiser HD 595 along with a portable amp are plenty enough.

@KaeseNachos So because I don't like the style and had my issues with the product, I'm labeled apple-fan? No, I bought this device because I was told it is the best sounding device at the moment, which I agree, but that sound quality boost is minuscule to any other device that has a decent SC and can play flac files. The UI is outdated and sluggish, the only reason other audiophiles praise it is because it's different. I rather go for the samsung player with poweramp, better device overall.

And you can tell that by what? Have you ever had it in your own hand? I own it and I never had any problems. And the design is good, but that is a question of taste. But well, arguing with an apple-fan is like arguing with a wall, useless.

I have read now so many comments, where every non apple-product is labeled as shit. But they never contain any facts and reason why it is so. Like I already said, just some trolls...

@giancarlo1985 Same here man, i had a creative x-fi2 and it kinda broke. Then i got the Cowon J3 and was blown away completely by the sound quality. The sound quality of the cowon j3 is vastly superior to the iPod.
