My mom brought home a block of dry ice (they didn't use is all in the physics class.) I had fun :) Just because I'm in college, doesn't mean I have to stop unschooling ;)
Very true, thanks for reinforcing that! After viewing your video, my son wanted to know where we could buy it and I said I wasn't sure so he thought he would ask. He is very into experiments so I think we'd have fun with it. :-)
With adult supervision, it is a great activity for kids. You can have lots of fun! Try adding soap to the water, it makes the CO2 bubbles stay together and then you can pop them. Only adults should handle the dry ice though, it can quickly give frostbite if held with bare skin.
I am 6 and a half. I want to know where we get dry ice.

Dry ice can be very dangerous. You have to be over 18 to buy it.
