Awake through brain surgery (2 of 3)

Absolutely amazing, a patient undergoes brain surgery while he's awake and invites cameras in on the operation for the benefit of, well, us! This was captured by my media centre and I found it so awesome I had to share it with youtube. It has been heavily cut to save on time. It was originally a 1 hour program.

FIRST VIDEO: 8:43 - Speech arrest testing (Zapping parts the brain while he's speaking. If he goes mute while they zap a certain part, they can't remove that part because he needs it for speech)
FIRST VIDEO: 11:19 - Speech arrest happens.
SECOND VIDEO: 12:06 - Peter answers a question while a piece of brain is being cut out. The question is: "If you recorded it, will you be watching this when you return home?"
SECOND VIDEO: 14:13 - A phone-in question is asked, the surgeon didn't catch the question however as he was busy removing a massive chunk of tumor-infested brain!

@brieman2, yes, the patient is awake, and talking. They do this so they can be sure of the tumerous areas, and the areas unaffected.

Does a procedure like this significantly increase the risk of stroke in the future? What if it's done absolutely perfectly, would it still affect that risk?
