Science Playground

The Hall has doubled the size of the popular outdoor Science Playground with 30,000 square feet of exhibits designed for children ages 6 and younger. Shelter, mirrors, sand and music are just some of the new paths to discovery that visitors can choose from in the expanded exhibition. Kids can explore a giant bird's nest, three sand boxes (one with a sand conveyor), a glass tunnel, and African, Asian and Caribbean drums. Older kids can learn about physics hands-on with slides, seesaws, a water play area, and dozens of other interactive exhibits. All ages.
