i always saw risexteddie myself
they both got their power at near about the same time, they are both very extrovert, she gets the most upset in teddies disappearing and they both get the most emotional at nanako's recovery.
plus they both a hit with the opposite agendas

I would actually prefer that the pairing in the anime remain ambiguous. Let the fans decide, like how they had done in the game, after all. 8,> Maybe hints of the several pairings (Narukami - his name in the anime - you ladykiller) but canon....well, maybe not~
