write on the mark. Good movie but not great to win the best movie. May be the panel needs to interrogated on how did they ignore the other better contenders.

i think it was deserving man there is no doubt in my mind it was, just my opinion dnt kill me for it. I actually think its one of those films that we will still talk about in 50 years.

I watched the movie with no expectations, way before it got noticed. I think that's when it's best.
But only good things came out of the movie winning the awards so I don't mind. Shows that award-winning movies can be made from a small budget. Last I heard the movies getting sued =/

As a director and film critic I have to say I thought the movie was good but I don't think it was great. If I had to choose best picture of 2008 it would be Gran Torino, but that was unfortunately snubbed.

Gran Torino was a great movie. I was disappointed it didn't get enough attention as some of the others as well.

No, I actually think the love guru sucked. dont feel bad for me, i dont need your worthless pity. i was simply offering my opinion. if you have a problem with that. go somewhere else for a review and stop wasting space leaving comments like this.
