This is a short entitled Trespass that my friends and I filmed at Fontana, North Carolina in the Smokey Mountains. The film is an abstract look at two gasmask clad men wandering an abondoned landscape. The film is open ended. References to Tarkovsky, Kubrick, and Terrence Malick.

  • Cool!. I like the scenes under back light and reverse footage in slow motion .For a short film , It 's a lot more that could be enriched, like the opening scenes into the woods and the stick beating .They evoke something more raw and primitive. Those could be could exploited further in depth.

  • i think the music though enjoyable brought too much attention to itself

  • wow another fave

  • The music gives the feeling that the abondoned Landscape is some what haunted and then during exploration the gas masked men run terrorfied but later return which sends them insane.

Forgive me if I am wrong, I have just started my first moving image project as a student and stumbled across your work during research.

  • this music is scaring the ever-living crap out of me.

  • Hmm...I don't remember any of this happening during filming. I'm guessing it's all CGI ?

  • Glad to see the footage came together into something great and vague.

  • woods, ruins, gas masks...how can you go wrong?

  • I like it.
