A simpler step for proving.
Till proving
=>Angle D+Angle B=1/2 abc+1/2 adc
=>angle d +angle b =1/2(abc+adc) [TAKEN 1/2 common]
=>angle d+angle b=1/2 x 360 degree
=>angle d+angle b=180 degree
