softbank iPhone 3.0 beta5 tethering

Don't be disappointed for iPhone 3.0 Beta 5 and accompanying iTunes 8.2.0.13 that is disabled to replace .ipcc file. This causes your .ipcc file which customized for enabling network tethering cannot be installed in your iPhone.
You have a simple solution for that - just downgrading iTunes 8.2.0.10 that came out with iPhone 3.0 Beta 4 so that .ipcc file can be replanced.

hi i googled a lot and finally found a video where teethering is done in softbank iphone but can this teethering be done in the 3.2 OS also ,

by the way i have jailbroken my iphone and i dont like to use apps like pdanet ,mywi etc...

so plz suggest me

at the moment I haven't been able to tether with 3.2

Some reports that even 3.2 can do tethering with a simple hack, but I wasn't able to make it with softbank carrier.

(I tried my old 3G, not 3GS with 3.2 OS installed)

Recently to do this gets more and more difficult because the old beta iTunes that can replace carrier file complains like 'this version of iTunes was expired'

Maybe you can rewind PC's clock but I haven't verified it works...

you JB your iphone on 3.0? im guessing your using beta! i have differerent question since your from japan and softbank user, have you tried using the sms or mail? default languase in the keypad is English then when you hit the language key to switch to hiragana sms or mail will close and go back to springboard? i am having this issue now JB redsn0w 0.7.2 under 3.0 FW *3A431*

NO, I don't JB and the video I recorded was beta but now I'm using release version of iPhone OS 3.0 with tethering enabled.

Once you enabled Japanese keyboard, you can use hiragana without closing app.

non-jailbreak on softbank 3.0 iphone? if im correct softbank dont want tethering on their network? how did you do it then coz i have a softbank iphone 3g, jailbreak w/ redsn0w but if i press the globe key to switch to japanse sms or mail app closes while not if not jailbroken
