2. How was that racist? American is a nationality not a race.
3. Its higher than that, i checked around it varies from 32 to 45% depends on source.

5. Yes but still one of the highest percents in the world. Its true that Norway also has a high rate but not that much guncrime.

Well the problem with gun crime in the US isn't at all the number of guns. You pointed out Norway, and I'll point out Switzerland. There's a societal inclination towards violence; the US has many areas that are densely populated and highly impoverished and that just breeds crime. A gun doesn't fire itself, though. And if it wasn't guns, it'd be knives. Sad but true.

That last comment I made was satirical effect, and wasn't really serious or meant to insult. I'm actually Italian, not American :)
