Mamod's engineering is, I'm afraid, better quality, using cast rather than stamped metal parts. I found the gearing on my 'Old Smokey' Wilesco wore very fast due to the soft metal used.

ab-so-lutely. It would look splendid driving some fairground toys.
Also, when weather permits, a twilight out of doors trundle around in the twilight will make a unique Youtube presentation.
A low camera angle....a chilly evening for the smoke...well!
Just don't frostbite your fingers on my account.
But I'd pay a pence to see the show...
