you can overboost if your wastegate malfunctions somehow (ie, vac hose pops off), and you can get whats called "boost creep", when your wastegate wont relieve enough exhaust pressure so the turbo builds more boost than it should, which can lead to complete and total destruction of your engine, so i think the warning function is very useful! :P

but why can the car hit 20 if its set to 16 psi i thought that when its set to 16 it means that it cant go past that ...sory for these stupid questions im just trying to understand it btw thanks for replying

what is the peak button for?

It is the maximum that gauge has gone while measuring your levels. ex- car normal boost is set @ 16psi but the peak shows that it has hit 20. any more questions let me know.

I heard these are craps and they won't function right. Basically just for display purpose.

If I'm not mistaken with the 3 Pod installed where it is ... you cannot have the navigator option?

well actually ya can!
it just has to be behind the navigation system w/the nav system not up the gauges are in clear site. while using the nav system its kinda difficult. :/ :-)
