I grew up hearing my dad listening to these songs and now he would be amazed that I at 25 find these to be the best songs of life. Sparrow was truly gifted. He might be the Michael Jackson of the Caribbean as the music seems to timeless though they tell off the past, they still make you move.

Just saw him in concert a week ago. When this came on, the crowd went crazy. He sounded amazing live. I met him after the concert and got a picture with him. Loved the concert and this medley.

@TheWhiteshephard wow that is great i heard calypso about africa by calypsonians who had traveled or learned about different places and made me feel in touch with a part of my history thanks for sharing i heard about Ghana independence, and the different leaders the good and the bad it was education for those who could not read and travel for those who could not

i love this medley ... listened to this when i was in secondary school i sang it alot n then ppl dint know what i singing coz Nigerian r not use to this kinda music heheheh ... its just me or this music ... wooow so so rucking i love it so so much ... the way she jumping n happy ... am shure the lizard must be tickling she ... heheheheh!!!

This brings back memories of my youth days. Getting ready for elementary school in the mornings in Jamaica, I would listed to Calypso Corner which was featured on radio. I am having a blast listening and having my grandkids listen to the music of my day.
