"Bully for Bugs": A "Cartoon" Score

Throughout this fourth term in the film music program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, our assignments have consisted of writing 90-second general "genre" pieces that have been dubbed "curtain openers." Usually we do these without writing to picture, but our "Cartoon" assignment was an exception. I chose to go with an old classic: Looney Tunes! It's safe to say, this is probably one of the most insane pieces of music I've ever written so far. Enjoy!

@LooneyTunerIan That would be an interesting exercise, but copying someone else's work isn't something I'm necessarily interested in doing, and that wasn't the point of the assignment. Thanks for the comment, though!

Not a bad job. I was most impressed by 0:24 - 0:42. It actually sounded very much like a piece of music you'd hear in one of these classic cartoons. Good job on that especially. :)

(Probably my favorite Bugs Bunny short, too.)

Absolutely fantastic! Classic Looney Tunes feel all the way! I didn't even realize it wasn't until it ended and I read the comment closer. I'm not as familiar with this Bugs piece.
