I've seen over millions of combo videos with the same shit......Cable Viper abuse, Magneto infinites, Iron man infinites......and finally someone has the balls to make a video of Zangief who has one of the better assists in the game.

So please...if your version of impression is the fucking infinites.....then go over there to those videos and post your opinion. I"m impressed because it's Zangief and not the same shit.

Actually, this combo video impressed me, because by tossing in the zangief air throw assist, you're making 100% combos with one meter.

Since the Gief's Air Throw Assist resets the combo meter, everything after it does full, non scaled damage. That's why you're seeing storm with one meter doing 80-90% damage. That's ridiculous.

I'm wondering if you can avoid the air throw via a quick attack or a backdash, however.

I play with Iron Man, Sentinel, Zangief and its definetly one of the scariest teams out there. I've been told from many top players after I've bodied them with this team. Players such as Khaos, Josh 360, Baby Wolverine etc... point being is that Zangief throw assist is Godlike but it is VERY GETTOUTABLE!!! COME LOOK FOR ME ON XBOX 360 -WorldMATCHUE

Additionally, Zangief CANNOT be used on point in high level play. I don't care if you think your friends constitute high level--they don't. Gief will lose to runaway and zoning and/or rush EVERY TIME at high level. He only serves any purpose as an assist. Lariat for utility and airthrow to boost combo damage. My Gief fuckaround team was Mag/Sent-a/Gief, as both characters can get 100% combos for 1 bar.

My main team was Dhalsim/IM/Sent-a, and I was known as one of the better Dhalsim players.

So anyway, original creator of the video here (years late, apparently). I made this in 2006 IIRC, and had been using things it it for a while by then.

To people bitching, the concept of this video is using Gief for a non-techable throw which you can guarantee. Throws reset the combo counter, which resets damage scaling (as Palmra posted). This is basically a concept video to show guaranteed resets and high damage combos for less reward.

I'm sorry that this reply is 3 years late. I'm the video creator, and I think I originally made this video in 2006, and had been using stuff form this vid for a while.

The cammy throw is her hp airthrow. You cannot always combo after it, though. It's a combination of timing AND you need to be relatively lower than your opponent during the throw... well, that and falling. Throw at the correct point (falling, lower than their body) and you can link sj.lp,qcf+hk,xx,KBA.
