  • I will never forget you. I love you!

  • R.I.P., Dave, I know a lot of us were looking around for some memory of what you provided for us over the past 34 years. Wish you had the chance to call a World Series for the M's. Thank you for making Mariner baseball exciting, no matter what their record.

  • It will be very odd to hear another voice announcing Mariners games. I remember watching the games on TV at my grandparents' house; grandpa would always mute the TV and turn on the radio so we could listen to Niehaus.

R.I.P. sir....more than Griffey or Edgar or any player, you were the Seattle Mariners.

  • R.I.P., Dave, I will miss the play by plays.

  • this guy was insanely good. so much obscurity.. but managed to make the radio interesting. amazing.

  • You were the greatest ever Dave! I already miss you dearly. Great professional, gentleman and human being. Fly away and call the Mariners games for the stars! RIP.

  • Get out the rye bread and mustard, grandma. It's grand salami time!

  • It is impossible to think of a mariners game without the great Niehaus. Thank you for the memories may you rest in peace.

  • And he will fly, fly away. You were the voice of my childhood, rest peacefully.
