40 hours in a tent!!! hell naw! no way, i would rather walk, even if it was more dangerous than wasting away in a tent. i would have went nuts.

Im from newfoundland. Just got back from a 5 day backpacking trip in the lewis hills (highest point on the island at 814m) and we got hit with 4 feet of snow in some areas. Stuck in the tent for 2 days straight.

Thanks for sharing. It looks like there was a lot of standing water around the tent. Any leakage from the floor?

No, that what was so amazing too. We were camped in the "highest" spot (ha!) of a wet area -- if one kneeled down the knees of one's pants got wet.

Warmth wasn't an issue. Our clothing, bags, pads kept us warm. We like the Hubba Hubba for lack of weight -- and other reasons. We too are good with "weather issues."

Not afraid to hike in the rain, afraid of the fog. We waited as long as we could, had to pick up a son at Gander airport. Two serious stream crossings, 3 k traverse BY compass of featureless tundra in SERIOUS fog, lost trail due to flooding -- 4 hour hike out became 7 hour hike. Successful. Story to tell!

Hi again, I was logged in with "bethelmaine" when I replied before. Yes, love the Hubba Hubba.
