The Track "Ishq (Love and the Veil)" is taken from Niyaz second Album (Disc 1) "Nine Heavens" (2008). On their sophomore release, Niyaz continues to bridge the gap between traditional and modern world music. This double CD reveals a complex body of work. Nine Heavens features intricately carved new arrangements of traditional folk songs as well as original compositions utilizing mystical Sufi poems from Iran, the Indian sub-continent and Turkey. Love this song - and of course this is one of the easiest Urdu words to learn...makes me want to watch the movie (Ishq) magical video tiad! A much talented group reaching a new generation...noting Azam and Loga born in Iran - he must've been from the Turkish part, he certainly looks Turkish to me...this group does much to bring cultures together - bless them for their efforts and bless you tiad for bringing
