Roosevelt Elementary School in Redwood City, California offers a Project Based Learning curriculum in grades K-5. Project Based Learning challenges students to reach their academic potential through in-depth investigations, while accessing their multiple intelligences. Students produce, often in small groups, meaningful products such as a presentation, performance, or report. The results are significant improvement in motivation, critical thinking skills, self-esteem, and standardized test scores.
