We shouldn't keep big things in captivity. :(

Dolphins are inteligent ,compering to Australians lol.
-
If we can stop the slaughter then we can end the captivity industry.

@kingsmonarchsfan10 Dolphins are far from becoming domesticated. If you released a dolphin from captivity into the wild it's natural instincts will kick in just like that of a domesticated dog/cat if they were somehow released into the wild.
-
then stop keeping dolphins in captivity, stop using them for entertaiment in Sea world and our aquariums. let them go free in their own habitat of the ocean ,; and let them live and be hunted and die as they are. stop trying to make the JPNese live according to our values. hunting/killing/slaughter is not pretty - it happens in the US every day/hour, and its also bloody, unclean, painful and not pretty...what did we expect????

@chuckielong1 They are becoming a form of domestication, just like dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. if I put one of my Domestic rabbits out in the wild, it probably wouldnt survive for 10 min without being attacked or threatened. But then again I cant compare a rabbit toa dolphin, it was just a reference.
-
@chuckielong1 I see what your saying, but you can tjust put them back point blank, and expect them to survive. Yes they are very intellegent animals but when they are born in the wild and being raised with their families, they learn how to hunt for their food and defend themselves. The only way to set them free is if they put them in the ocean holding tanks like they have in Key West. let them out everyday, and let them come back.

@kingsmonarchsfan10 Ok well let just say you put a 11 year old kid on an isolated island, will the kid just sit there and wait for his death or will he try his ass off and run around the island building a house and finding food.....it the same for dolphin it the survival....I mean they might not have a 100% of survival if they release but they still have 90% of survival....they are smart animal...it all come down to that individual dolphin and their survival intinct
-
@chuckielong1 now with wild dolphins who were born in the wild, they learn hunting skills from their parents so they can survive when they grow older, if they dont, they wont make it in the wild. so you really need to take a second look and really think about what would happen if you put dolphins that were bred into captivity out in the wild.
-
@chuckielong1 but you cant release them when they are born because their parents wont survive, therefore the newborn wont survive. Now with the wild dogs, well ya they have no choice, they figure it out on their own, but since the dolphins have been bred into captivity, and raised, they wont be able to take care of themselves. They would not be able to eat, or chase fish for food, or hunt. what if a shark comes? they cant defend themselves because they dont know how.
The guy who directed "The Cove" should be given a Nobel Peace Prize! Dolphin meats have high Mercury levels and it is poisonous if consumed. They are friendly if not shy to us humans. It's a shame that mass genocides are being conducted on such inteligent species. The world needs to see this and open up their mind and eyes on this illegal activity.

@lieselotte1x3 The documentary is not about boycotting the Japanese! Stop finding reasons to hate this documentary. This is about awareness about animal cruelty. Get a life, man!
