I think they are addressing that lower income families are pushed to the side in terms of true help. Think about it this but of information, roughly 900 million dollars was spent last year on new prison systems etc. etc. And only 90 million was spent to help poverty stricken areas. Why not spend the money for better schools, and helping clean up those areas. No govt spends the money on the aftermath. Money doesn't make u happy, but when your needs are ignored by your own govt. it hurts
