HPV is not a childhood illness like chicken pox, so there is a difference. A recommendation means you have a choice, whereas a mandate you do not. The opt-out was to appease angry parents. And, yes, the gov't will apologize years from now as they have done in the past. History tends to repeat itself.

I said this with a bit of sarcasim. Truly, we do not know what we are receiving as in the case of gardasil. It didn't get its 7 year wait like other drugs. A recommendation is not the same as a mandate.

lots you are like oooh the GOVernMENT, they're out to geeeeeet me...
you have to get lots of vaccines, this isn't different just because it's sexually transmitted.
they're aren't bills like this in my state, but it's recommended by my hospital and my doctors and my health clinic, which are all independent from the state.
