  • Those dogs deserve medals

  • It's amazing to see that instinctive behavior in these animals. I've see my dog do those exact same things to toys, stuffed animals and even the odd rabbit in the back yard, yet most of the time I forget he has these traits and just think he's another happy domesticated little house dog. It really is intriguing.

  • Damn they could have done with these little guys in the trenches in World War 1. Anecdotes tell of rats as large as cats. And that if a wounded soldier fell and could not get up he would be eaten alive in no mans land.

  • @breezeman199 It depends really, some places may have a disease running through some may not

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO ! We have a bitch that would catch rats & take it to litter(pups), let them toy with it & eat it. Then when pups were around 6 weeks old, the rat was wounded, but not dead. The pups would do the killing, then at 8 - 9 weeks old, they would run thru barn daily. We had no rats, mice or snakes. GOD BLESS SQUIRTS & HER 3 LITTERS OF PUPS. We got her fixed at 5 years old & she works with 1 of her son & a Border Terrier/ Chiwawa cross.

  • 3:53 Utterly demolished. One of the rats has it's arm to the sky, as if to say: "why?"

  • Is there any danger of the dogs getting a disease from these rats?

  • ratting is a great bit of sport, the terriers love it .

  • my lab/pitbull mix do this alot i dont know why he always find rats and mice in our backyard and kill them why i found interesting is that we never thought him how to kill `em but he always kills rats whith one bite

  • I had 2 Rat Terriers Great and loving dogs. I worked on a 80,000 acre ranch in Nevada those guys ran and hunted vermin all day if you live in a rural area they are the only one to have . beside your bigger dog like a Lab to keep coyotes away, they can be quite protective too .. they need to run alot
