Firon's Commentaries - System Shock 2 Psi Only-Run Episode 18

I don't entirely enjoy all the obstacles I've been running into lately. But here's Episode 18 finally. Good thing about the previews is that they give you a general idea of what to expect in future installments so the waits aren't as painful -w-;

This is my first ever Let's Play, and the game I chose was System Shock 2. I've decided to do a Psi Only-Run, which means I cannot use any other weapon besides the Psi Amp. I can purchase upgrades other than Psi stuff, but I'm strictly limited to using the Psi Amp for self-defense. It's on Impossible difficulty, the hardest difficulty in the game.

Grab a drink and whatever you like to eat and enjoy an all-new episode!

In this episode I:

- Unveil an upgrade to the Psi Amp
- Find another piece of the code while looting the stores
- Learn of a guy who is clearly perverted and undoubtedly stupid (what are the odds?)
- Talk about the possible future of technology that focuses on enhancing human pleasure (We may be able to make a sensual sim center someday very soon)
- Kill enemies in awesome fashion as a tribute to ShepherdReborn (Complete with a track he used for one of his best moments!)

Pretty awesome episode :-) Thanks for dedication, that Mall fight was impressive (you're probably better with that Psi amp then I am with Crystal). Also a very neat way to use that song. That bit when you talked about AI and advancements in information technology was a nice touch, the so-called technological singularity is a fascinating subject to elaborate on in future episodes :-) Keep those videos, I hope you get more viewers since this is quality stuff that you are making here mister.

@ShephardReborn But there's the flip side of technology where it makes our lives harder to, regarldess if we know it or not. I'll keep that suggestion in mind for future episodes.

And I hope so to. It is nice to know that people are intereseted in a trade of opinions or just plain interested in anything my commentary has to offer. All in all though, it's just fun to make these videos -w-

Also, I find the topic to be pretty interesting myself. Technology has usually been a means of making our lives easier, and it's not so difficult to predict that advances will definitely focus on hedontistic satisfication rather than real functionality.
